Every picture here (the castle on a ridge, the three kinds of site, the way in from above, the castle on a hill, the eight-pointed cross, the round church, the logo, the favicon and the share image) is our own original, simplified drawing. They are not reconstructions or scale plans, and they are not traced or copied from any plan, map, print, guidebook, museum image or photograph. Only the labelled parts come from the sourced facts in each caption.
